“Our thoughts become actions and paint our world“
 About Logical Lotus
I wholeheartedly appreciate every reader, and all are welcome here.Â
This blog seemed a natural progression for me, as writing is one of my passions (or sparks), and I have a plethora of thoughts to share about my other passion, mindful living. Why mindful living?
The Why: My Meditation & Mindfulness Story
Meditation is one of my major sparks. I was drawn to meditation about 15 years ago due to my own growth and wellness journeys. However, I meditated sporadically throughout the years until a few years ago.Â
It was then that I felt the pull to dedicate myself to regular meditative practice as I knew it was time to prioritize my growth and wellness journey (for several reasons, spirituality and overall health included). Over the years, meditation has improved my physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness. It’s also helped me “cultivate” an awareness of myself on every level. Hence, it remains the most significant tool in my growth journey. I’m finding total wellness, truths, and myself.Â
What’s the mindfulness connection? Meditation is one of the most valuable tools for growing mindfulness. I’m now more present and content within my life (as a result of meditation). I’ve learned that life ebbs and flows, sometimes because of us, other times regardless of us. Life provides lessons and blessings for all of us. It’s all part of the journey; it’s part of our growth. There’s beauty in all aspects of life.Â
Â
When you live mindfully, you tend to be happier. Calmer. Less stressed or stress-free. Moreover, an awareness of yourself (thoughts and mindset included) spurs positive change, growth, and gratitude within your life. I’m insanely passionate about spreading the message of mindful living, as I know the tremendous impact firsthand.Â
More About Me
Firstly, I’m a proud mother to six incredible children (two sons, twin daughters, and two stepdaughters); I’m also happily married to an amazing husband (who’s also my best friend). I’m even blessed with three awesome grandchildren! I’m an educator by primary profession, but teaching comes naturally. From a young age, I felt a strong desire to share with others and help them grow. That’s a big part of teaching….and I have always loved that aspect.
But I also love learning, especially in the area of personal development. So, I engage in training/classes and apply what I’ve learned for self-growth and wellness reasons (mind & body). I feel inspired to share some of my learnings with family and friends (and now with you via this blog).Â
