Although I’ve recently been composing mainly informative-type blog articles, my passion for writing began long ago with poetry; I embrace poetry’s expressive and creative nature. And I thoroughly enjoy both reading and writing poetry!
Admittedly, I don’t often share my poems, but I feel inspired to share a poem I wrote very recently (after a break of several years). I know poetry is not what I usually post, but this poem does connect to awareness and growth (on various levels), which is my rationale for posting.
Tune Into Love
The world seems “out of tune” right now; weary souls seek harmony.
Too many clouded minds, fueled by fear, spur inner and outer war.
Yet it’s our nature to lead with our heart; loving-kindness at our core.
Open your hearts and minds to own the truth; we make this life together.
Perceived division, driven by fear, brings anger, heartache, sorrow.
Today, right now, we can manifest an ideal tomorrow.
Tune into others; balance is found in unity.
When many kind hearts and minds unite, we’ll know a world more in tune.
We all play a part on this grand stage; a world in harmony starts with you.
Tune into yourself; our thoughts become actions that make our world; intend upliftment for all.
We help or hinder ourselves, as a whole.
Lead with love and watch us grow.
In a world burdened with conflict and inequity, there is harmony to be found and compassion to be spread. We all contribute to the state of the world, so why wouldn’t we do what we can to consciously support an open and loving environment that promotes balance and peace for all?
To make impactful changes in this life we share, we must look at ourselves, and our connection to others.
Act on your compassionate intentions, uplifting others, and us, as a whole.
Keep radiating kindness, and lead with your heart. Thanks so much for reading, friends.
